Surely villa would rather have him training and playing anywhere than villa park and would contribute the bulk of any wages just so he's back in the shop window. From our point of view contract wise pay him so much if he plays and so much if he don't and use bonus incentives for goals and performances. I know im a genius. Thanks in advance.

Another club would simply come in and offer to pay the wages or sign him permanently.

    no chance

This is the player that Steve Bruce fell out with because he was too lazy to train, no?

U think forest paid him that last season. If Bruce wants him out he'll subsidise it if there's a taker.

I doubt he'd be happy to subsidise 40 grand a week though. Regardless, it's a no from me.

I haven't a clue, but doubtless Forest could afford to pay a bigger chunk of it than we can.

Well whatever the case is were46 goals lost from last seasons squad plus defensive weaker. Id rather see someone proven experienced come in even if it has to be free but on higher wages. This youth policy has always concerned me. Even the pundits were saying after forest game at home we needed experience in the team. Look at kermorgant at reading age35.

No! No! and thrice No! Exactly the sort of player we don't want. You only need to look at his record recently to see that he isn't committed to anything much more than picking up £45k per week. Why should he try hard for us? Would we really pay £22.5k wages? I think not. Not our profile of player. Thanks for the suggestion, though. will have got folks chatting.

Disappears on the pitch when the going gets tough. No chance, not Hecky's sort of player and the financing would be ridiculous.

Simon Grayson has expressed an interest in signing him on a permanent for Sunderland.
Villa have got to sell players to avoid breaching the FFP rules. Sticking point at the moment is that Villa
want to recover most if not all of the £12 million they paid Fulham for him.
We've probably got absolutely no chance of bringing him to Oakwell.

We're being outbid by teams in the division below, but let's bring in a striker earning £45,000 a week. Sounds plausible.

"Afford" is a bit of a strong word. More like "choose to send themselves closer to administration".

McCormack will be moved on if the rumour is true that Villa are poised to bid
for Wednesdays Jordan Rhodes. Could involve a swap.?

    What a totally ridiculous idea............

Why not put a bid in for Barkley too while we are at it as he wants to leave Everton?

    And Virgil Van Dijk?
