EFL Communications @EFL_Comms An independent Arbitration panel has ruled that @LaticsOfficial’s 12-point deduction for entering administration last month will stand after dismissing the Club’s appeal against the sporting sanction. The decision of the Arbitration panel is final and legally binding. https://twitter.com/EFL_Comms/status...775797760?s=20
How would you feel if you were owed 30k for contract work you had carried out . 500k for an appeal. You end up with 1p in the pound you are owed. Football stinks to a ******* high degree
I think that might actually make it worse. Someone who allegedly loves the club and throws that money away that could have been used at DW Sports or to pay players or staff at the club he used to own. Thats really quite grim if true.
He did play for us under Steve Parkin Jon told me Steve didn't like him and got rid of him at every club he arrived at. For a big lad he had good feet. Plus a good goal scoring record. Plus an amazing sense of humour. Sat on.Wembley way talking with him ,When we played Oxford . Laughed till I cried at some of his stories Told the lads at Cardif when Steve Parkin arrived as no2, that there's only room for one Parkin at a football club and said see you lads been nice knowing you. Absolute top lad I have so much time for him Despite his nickname at BFC Jonny Budweiser. Which I reminded him of
Interesting comments here from the Wigan administrator (fast forward to 9.30-ish) pretty much confirming that they accept the decision and it was a bit of a punt anyway.
Watched a fair bit of this. Administrator seems to be doing a good job & clearly thought they had f-all chance with the appeal, but had to do it. Seems an OK guy doing a hard job, when a business has failed.
