Stoke and Wigan are both clubs in decline. Stoke are boosted financially by Parachute payments and the wealth of the Coates family, but football wise are inept. Wigan I believe we will be hearing about soon in relation to FFP infringements.

"Scouts" are every game including Academy games, at all clubs, building up the data on players which is then used in the statistical analysis.
Why would Ethan or Liam want to go to Wigan? Who have just avoided relegation. Or Stoke who have spent enormously this season, changed manager and will.do so again at the end of the season and been absolutely rubbish ?

I reckon the championship will suit them both even more than lg1 ( footballing wise) if they do go and we go up I just hope they stay for a while to add more noughts onto the fee.

I heard that there was a balls up on our part (who'd believe that) but it was Wigan who moved the goalposts and went back on the agreement we had. It didn't help that we procrastinated but they took full advantage and killed the deal.

Great word. Not many Barnsley folk use that in their daily lives.

I'd like Messi, but that's not going to happen either...
