Good effort that Malik mate 10/10 for effort BUT he was still in control of the ball and could've cut it back to one of his team mates in the box.

Almost identical to what he did in the same position against Brentford on Sunday, think Daniel needs to have a word.

The brentford one looked a pen to me and I was sat with a good view, agree about last night though should have looked up and played the ball instead of looking for the pen. Having said that I think he has looked good both games from the bench.

I said exactly the same. Same spot and probably same minute. Never a pen.

Didn't look like a dive at all. Got a push in the back just outside the box, tried to stay on his feet and then stumbled. May have looked like a dive in real time but replays suggest otherwise.

It would have been a penalty at the other end. I’m assuming Stendel doesn’t bother having a designated penalty taker presumably just accepted that we don’t get them.

The one against Brentford was as clear a pen as you will see

And this is the frustrating thing, I have no doubt if that was the other end of the pitch then Derby would have been awarded a penalty. The inconsistency of referees is appalling (throughout the football league) and until they start being held accountable for their decision making then nothing will change. IMO they are offered far too much protection from the relevant bodies.
An example from last night, Sibbick booked for what looked like a nothing foul when I thought he got his body between their player and the ball so was a bit unlucky but then Derby players commit possibly 4 fouls in quick succession towards the end of the match and not so much as word from the referee, it's embarrassing!

Anyone know if they have a referee assessor at every game?

Watching the highlights, i'm not convinced that theirs was a penalty, looked like he got the ball to me.
I know Mads should have cleared it for the first, but what was the keeper doing ffs.

I agree about inconsistency re referees as I have no idea why Sibbick was booked for an innocuous foul near the halfway line unless it was for dissent. However re Wilks it was not a 'dive' he was fouled outside the box and despite trying to stay on his feet he was unbalanced and eventually fell well inside the box. The commentators said the same. It was a clear foul (which the referee ignored) as he did for many of those committed by Derby. NO idea how they got away for 90 minutes without one single yellow card.

Never a dive, tried to stay on his feet after being fouled.

The defenders hands were on Wilks (his back), it wasnt a penalty but it was a soft free kick, outside the box. As has been mentioned its the kind of thing we are regulaly punished for.
Sibbick was unlucky with his booking.

Commentator on Sky reckoned Derby have penalty problems, missing two of the four they have been awarded this season. At least that’s not a concern for us. One thing less to worry about :D

As others have said, I think he was clipped and knocked off balance, tried to stay up, then went down. I believe it was this delay that "conned" the referee who I thought was abysmal all night.

There was another incident in the first half when Sibbick also got a clip, but didn't go down. Difficult to tell from the other end of the pitch but it looked suspicious to me.

Another thing I noticed was that when we equalised, the referee didn't actually signal to award the goal. Instead he looked all around him, and to the linesman. To me, his body language said that he was frantically looking for a reason to disallow the goal, but couldn't find one.

How he wasn't booked for simulation is beyond me, dive all day long.

Was right in front of me. No way am I having that as a dive. He clearly was pushed and tried to stay on his feet. Why would he go down in that situation?

One that was a stone waller though, was a ball into the box and a clear push in the back (I think it was Woodrow) stopping the header. the ref didn't even acknowledge it, shocking!

If only there was some kind of technology that could record incidents like this in slow motion, so that bad decisions can be corrected.

Then he raced over to our players at top speed to try and curtail the celebrations after he’d allowed their players to continually time waste the whole second half.

I'm not sure VAR is the answer, I wouldn't enjoy games as much if it was introduced to the championship.

Imagine last nights last minute equaliser being ruled out. They probably could've found some infringement if they reviewed the footage.

Got clipped, stayed on his feet instead of going down, more contact made and went down.
