Before the end of 2019? Here are the fixtures up to the end of this year along with my prediction. 23rd November: Blackburn Rovers (A) - Lose 27th November: Middlesbrough (A) - Draw 30th November: Hull City (H) - Draw 7th December: Cardiff City (A) - Lose 11th December: Reading (H)- Lose 14th December: Queens Park Ranges (H) -Draw 21st December: Millwall (A) - Lose 26th December: West Bromwich Albion (H) - Lose 29th December: Swansea City (A) - Lose Feel free to add you own predictions, I can see us drawing 3 games and losing the rest. Hope to be proved wrong of course but I do fear based on what we've seen so far we will struggle to get much beyond 20 points come the end of the season.
If we appoint a half decent manager who can organise our wretched defence, at least until we can add players in January then we might just pick up a win or two. Maybe the Reading and Hull games might be winnable games.
The thing is Mario a manager/coach can do all the organising, tactical approach and work on the training pitch but if the players continue to make silly mistakes then we're not giving ourselves a fighting chance in any game. I've defended the players so far as I believe they've been put in an unfair position and I've been very critical of the owners but how long do you give the players if they aren't learning and making the same mistakes again and again?
PS it sounds like Murray was starting to question or even turn on some of them in his post match interview when he said they aren't learning.
Any new manager has his work cut out with this squad but I'm trying to find some fading hope to cling to. I'm the same, these players have been thrown under a bus but I'm getting fed up of seeing the same mistakes made every game.
At Loftus Road we have an horrendous record but I didn't think we had a bad record against them at Oakwell. However I could be wrong.
The only chance we have is for there to be a big freeze from now until January and for the CEO to go rogue and ignore the owners during the transfer window.
