Don't believe any of the tosh the Sun comes out with, neither do I believe the Wednesday fans who claim to be "in the know" just like our friend Alan Nixon. But if he does leave and go to them lot will you boo him in April if he plays.
Some are reporting 500k wednesday have bid for him surley that's a joke he's worth 4x that with only 6 months left.... and some booed Saturday so I imagine some will I'll try not to but can't promise. If he does go I'd try get ashley fletcher back on permenent as a replacement.
I'd hope he minght want to drop a league move back to yorkshire and re establish his career especially after he has just dropped behind Scott hogan in the pecking order too.... or is every thing down to pounds and pence these days.
Everyone is aloud to dream... the problem is when you start to believe em. If Fletcher was ever going to come back to Barnsley, it would have been last summer, but he turned us down. We were just a stepping stone in his career.
The joys of being a successful championship team. It speaks volumes for the club and the coaching staff and shows how far we have come in the last 18 months . What ever the outcome it's out of our hands. That said if I was anyone of the lads that speculation surrounds I would stay until the end of the season ...financially in the long term they would be better running their present contracts down and thus getting higher wages and a decent signing on fee. Plus who's not to say we can't make the play offs with this present team
