According to some reports emerging from Italy, Wolves had a bid of £34.7m rejected by AC Milan for Portuguese international forward André Silva. #wwfc is expected to make a second bid.

Pathetic Reds. We should be competing for signings like this. After all, budgets mean nothing in this division. We should be doing better.

    FFP at its finest.

Apparently owner has said he doesn't care for the rules and he will just pay any fines that come his way. If that is the attitude he is going to take they should dock them points the smug ******.

QPR got fined £30 mill but paid it off and seem to have learned from their lesson. Hopefully if Wolves do that, they'll learn. He'll soon get sick of paying £30 mill fines just like us lot don't like paying overpriced bills or parking fines.

No they didn’t. They got fined £50m, argue with Lilly livered football league and got it reduced to £30m.
They are still arguing this and haven’t paid a penny.

In a slight defence of the FL, the Premier League basically blackmailed them into backing down from their original position

If they pay the fine I reckon that's OK.
I'd like football to go for the level playing field that american sports have, but it ain't going to happen till the money dries up.
And I think it will eventually.

It’s over 3 years though, so nothing to worry about just yet. If they get promoted the money rolls in and they’re back in profit. They’ll only hit the buffers if they fail to get promoted, or get promoted and are relegated. But then they get £93m in parachute payments over the following 3 years.
