Hecky said he was hoping it would be decided by today. Personally I would be happy with him staying, mend his bridges and graft. Even if he only plays out his contract, he is a good player and if it can all be ironed out then we can benefit. One thing for sure IMHO, is that the club are in the driving seat now.
Would say he is surplus to requirements now....time to cash in if we can and bring in some much needed experience elsewhere
From snippets I've heard from Reds fans on Radio Dee Dah's Football Heaven to-night, sounded to be general agreement that whilst he should be in the squad, Yiadom should not walk straight back into the team. We'll just have to wait and see what Hecky decides now. Have to say I'm feeling increasingly optimistic about our prospects on Saturday. It would be absolutely brilliant if we could come back with all three points.
Depends how bad the desolation and subsequent damage turns out to be. I had an accident in Scotland, suffering a dislocation, and was told never to play golf again. As an 11 handicap player, I was looking forward to retirement and lowering same. I was, in modern parlance, devastated.
