Makes yer blood boil reading all this lot..............and there's one common theme .............its mostly individuals or small groups that have been picked out by other fans So there's lessons to be learnt............stick together and help each other.........we are ALL Barnsley fans
RE: Makes yer blood boil reading all this lot..............and there's one common theme Aye ya not wrong. When the poles attacked the bar for me it was either fight or flight time n instinctively I chose fight. Thank **** that Hammer thought about sticking together when he run 50 yards to pull me outta the ****. Could easily have pretended he hadn't seen me
Home to Bradford City 1976/77. Skirmishes breaking out all over the place, both inside & outside Oakwell, culminating in a huge battle near the station during which a police horse was blinded by the corner of a house brick. The incident made the national news on tv and newspapers.
That was the problem It was a hot day, so all we had on was our BFC shirts - shirts off wasn't really an option.
Type 'spacially' in Don, go on, really, try it! http://www.askoxford.com/dictionaries/?view=uk
Hope your head doesn't explode when it isn't found.

That's the one! City fans started chucking bricks all over the place. I stood in front of my car to stop anything from hitting it. Don't know how sensible that was mind!
Bradford City early 80s in the cup was pretty bad Not so much for bother, but way too many fans were crammed in the away end. The end was split in half with their fans right next to us divided by a tall fence. I was only about 13 then, my sister 11... we saw nothing of the game, we crushed on the way out, and my dad came out with blood dripping down his head from a combination of coins being lobbed over the fence, and the snack bar roof continually collapsing. Must have been 4,000 or do Reds fans in there. Won 1-0. Apparently Glavin scored.
Portsmouth in '79 was bad..... Along with Bradford City in 78, West Ham 1980, Chelsea 1981, and Liverpool 1982. Millwall in 80/81 was lively and we had to wait for a replacement coach whilst the locals were running amok with the police in the nearby streets.
When Andy says "i were there when david johnson scored in last minute, leeds fans were climbing fencing to get at us, stewards were hitting them with sticks to get them back", he's referring to the 1984 game not the one in 1990 when Archdeacon & O'Connell scored.
