    Is Gayle off contract at the end of the season? Let's bloody hope so as it's been a pretty poor campaign overall. He can't seem to motivate the players, last week's performance against Somerset was a disgrace and what we've seen so far against Kent is just as bad. Don't get me started on another disastrous T20 effort.

    Mate of mine (from Kent) spent most of yesterday bleating on What'sAp about how Kent were rolling us over.
    This morning I pointed out to him that the last time Kent won the county championship was 1978 and was their 6th title.
    Yorkshire on the other hand last won it in 2015, our 32nd time.

    To have other team 30odd for 5 and still go into 2nd innings 213 behind is appalling. Needs a total rethink at the white rose top to bottom. The top 6 is a joke. One day and T20 were a complete shambles. How have we got so bad in just a few short years???
