How old would he have been? RNL can't be far off, think he scored in the final game of the season about 5 or 6 years ago.

    I'd guess at Riley, too.

RNL was 17 when he scored for us against Millwall at the end of the 2010/11 season. According to Wikipedia Foreman signed for us when he was 18 and Riley when he was 16. According to http://barnsleyfc.org.uk/threads/question-for-the-stattos-saddos-and-biglil-d.237331/ Riley scored for us in April 1975 meaning he would have been 16. Again according to Wikipedia Hirst started playing for us when he was nearly 18. So it seems to be Riley.

Barry Murphy was 37 when he scored a penalty against Rochdale on the opening day of the 1977/78 season. We won 4-0 and Spud scored our second. Alan Little opened the scoring on his debut and in the second half Peter Price got the third with substitute Brian Joicey notching the fourth.

I don't know if that penalty makes Barry Murphy our oldest goalscorer.

Malc Shotton scored for us in the 95/96 season. Depending on when it was, he was 38 or 39.

I used to play against Glyn Riley as a lad (13 - 14 yrs old) on the old Edward Sheerien playing fields on a weekend at Athersley.. Couldn't ever get the sodding ball of fhim then - was always several cuts above the rest of us. Aahh memories!
