@bbc24 - BBC News 24 Police attend the scene of a shooting where a man suffered facial injuries in the Chapeltown area of Leeds. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-14449656
You wouldn't go to Chapeltown at the best of times. More likely to be drug related incident, than sympathy London riots.
someone taking the mickey here? Grasmere, Carlisle, Dublin, Dundee & Humberside next? Panic on the streets of London* Panic on the streets of Birmingham* I wonder to myself* Could life ever be sane again ?* The Leeds side-streets that you slip down* I wonder to myself* Hopes may rise on the Grasmere* But Honey Pie, you're not safe here* So you run down* To the safety of the town* But there's Panic on the streets of Carlisle* Dublin, Dundee, Humberside* I wonder to myself*
A bloke from some black community set up, said on news earlier Police have a licence to kill where black people are concerned, now if that is'nt inflammitory and racist then I haven't a clue what would be. He also said that while he was travelling through the area in a car he was stopped by police and they where impolite to him, **** me, they're trying to quell a riot and they failed to be polite some community leader, also tried to blame inequality, police bias against blacks etc etc for the trouble. It's quite ironic that people like these bang on about racism and fail to see that what they are saying is also racist and that it will have the effect of alienating people like me that are not racist but will get called racist for posting comments like these.
