Update on Laura

    On Thursday, it looked like her kidney transplant was failing. However, yesterday and today has seen a bit of stability and improvement. With any luck, she'll have her catheter and the last of her cannulers (sp) removed. This will hopefully give her more mobility and dignity.
    I was sad to see we lost today. However, I hope you'll forgive me if I don't view the result of a football match as the most important aspect of our life at this moment.

    Sorry to hear that you were worried it was failing and glad to hear that she is making progress. im sure she'll pick up a bit when the things are removed though and remember if she doesnt get well soon ill let the world know shes a closet dee dar

    We're not out of the woods by any stretch of the imagination, mate, but thanks. Laura's shown all the nurses some photographs of me in my wrestling gear, so I'm now a figure of fun for all the staff!!

    Also, finding artefacts on an archaeological dig is a damn sight easier than finding a parking space at Nottingham Hospital!
