not a clue esl people on here go on about wednesday and united fans but a large % of barnsley are a lot worse.

If the team play well they can be encouraged and applauded but it works both ways like in all aspects of life
You know what mate, you were not there, so you do not know how bad it was, it may look like an over reaction, but believe me it was not. Not a clue how they were supposed to play, what the tactics were, not a one single wide player in a red shirt, 4 central midfield players and a striker playing on the wing, not the right wing either, but the left wing. a left back that was on par with any I have seen in over 40 years of supporting the Reds, a centre half that could not control the ball or head it correctly, a keeper that is a disaster waiting to happen, a centre forward that looks so lonely I wanted to go and give him a cuddle, he also is ***** with his head. a right back that is supposedly great at over lapping and getting crosses in , but just carried on running with the ball until it went out, a captain that was ineffectual in any leadership, a manager that said he wanted, nay would have a team that plays football and actually attack the opponents, it was ****. But Yeah , you are correct we should be over the ******* moon about it! I really dont give a **** about any other team but, I will have you a bet that Leeds finish above us. The performance on Sat was piss poor and listening to Hill`s comments after the match he seemed to be at a loss as to why it was so *****.
I've been really positive about Hill and I still am but the first half on Saturday was absolutely dire in every aspect. It must rank as one of the worst 45 minutes I've seen from any team in a long long time. It was worse than **** mate and while I didn't boo because it's way too early to boo I can understand why people did boo.
hmm errrr hmmmmm ...errrrr ok, It was only 0-1 It was only the first home game and there's anoth 44 games to go. We were not alone in losing at home on Saturday in fact in the football league alone there were 19 away wins. Perkins looks a prospect as does Edwards. Look I'm trying my best here ! BTW I didn't and will not boo a Barnsley team.
I appreciate the effort ;-) However, we were lucky it was only 1-0. Even Hill said that. The fact other teams lost is irrelevant to me. I'm only concerned about Barnsley FC, just as Leeds fans will only be concerned about Leeds (apart from the deluded ones who still regard Man Utd as their greatest rivals). Okay, it was just the one loss, and there is a long way to go. But it wasn't that we lost, it was the manner that we lost by. No effort, no ideas, no drive in the team. They really, at times, looked completely out of their depth, and that is what is worrying. As I posted in another thread, I would love you to come on here tomorrow saying "Nah, Nah Told you!" and I will eat all the humble pie you want. And I will not boo the team either.
Do you honestly think any amount of clapping could make David Preece into a decent kepper, cos I don't.
