He's a good player at this level, I would have liked to have seen him come here.

good for them.. personally, ive never been overly impressed..

id like our club to stop being stupid hoping we can offer Le Fondre a contract in January, and get out and fetch him in now.. yes he'd be a risk, but he looks deadly.. yes its league 2, but a more clinical fox in the box im yet to see in our price range.. IMO, he is exactly what we need.. i mean, how many times in the 1st 85 mins against Soton did we get more than 1 man in the box??
    speculate to accumulate..

Not come here, we may have to pay some of his wages and I dont think we can afford to sign anyone that earns more than minimum wage!

He would be as big a risk for us as Davies, I relly dont think we can afford to have both our main strikers coming from lower league football and hoping they turn out to be diamonds. Keogh and players of that ilk have proven they can score goals at this level, a big ask for both Davies and ALF to step up 2 levels and carry on scoring.

Think we need to look at the elusive Brian Howard type before we look at more forrads.

Agreed. It would be too big of a gamble to take at this stage. We now need established championship pedigree.

I think as long as we break even nothing else matters. If we stay up it's a massive bonus

Seriously if that is the attitude of those running the club we may as well just chalk **** on it. Going down would be a major financial blow. I can't believe that staying in this league is not our top priority.

I'm just convinced it's the case as the club surviving perhaps the most difficult period in it's history is what matters.

Surely we have a better chance of surviving in this league, a drop into the ale house league could be disastrous for us and I would hope that Cryne and Don know this. I wouldn't say stay up at all costs but planning for relegation in August would be ridiculous in the extreme.

I watched him play for us and there looks to be a decent player in there - somewhere.

But I wouldn't be looking to him for goals, all his good work is outside the box and your center half is as likely to score as him imo.

A few years ago i'd have loved him here

Think he's past his best now, but then again, at the moment Leeds need all the help they can get, no strikers, the back 4 was non existent last season and hasn't been improved this, from what I can see, they've basically signed 2 decent keepers.

I agree. I think the current plan is for the survival of the club without the reliance on a benefactor.
