Weve lost to 2 better teams than us. Best, I think thats like saying weve only played 3 games how can you tell whats going to happen, so until seeing the other 20 teams how can you proclaim that they are the best.
Southampton yes, Boro No. I wouldn't say we gifted Boro 3 goals, but we did very little to prevent them.
Re: Southampton yes, Boro No. but unfortunately 3 teams I expected to struggle, Derby, Bristol and Peterboro are all picking up points against the fancied teams
They have looked good but is that because we have been so *****? Probably not as black and white as that because they have had decent results against other sides too but we have not imposed ourselves on the games at all so difficult to judge the opposition. Not seen enough of the Championship yet to say who is best though, although I agree at this point that Southampton will be up there, I have seen them twice so far and been very impressed.
Sam , I have no problem with losing to better sides. What I do have a problem with is the way we have lost. No pride , no passion, no commitment, no idea. Yet the fans are expected to accept it and carry on regardless, keep handing over their cash and take it up the shitter! Keith Hill is earning a lot more than the majority of BFC fans, he is emplyed to ensure that the team can compete against the teams in this league. He wasted no time in telling us how good is , how great his track record has been, how great his team will play nice passing football, be fitter that the rest, be more committed, well he LIED. We are none of these things, the pre-season matches meant nothing, like we all knew. Now Hill is coming out with crap about how we cannot afford to buy any players that are good enough to compete, yet 7 weeks ago he was saying totally opposite, it was easy, all you needed was a him and Flitcroft. I think he has only just realized how bloody difficult a job he has taken on and it scares him, that is why he is blaming every other thing except himself. If he really believes that the perfomance last night was praiseworthy then maybe he is not the man for BFC.
your right on that, but what i've seen so far this season is that this is the strongest league since we've been back in the championship
