Have very short memories, times were way worse under Davey, especially at the end of his tenure. Let's just accept we're going to be in the bottom 5 this year and get behind the lads and fight to the end. It's been a battle in the Championship from the start and we'll fight til the end, and if that's not good enough then at least we know we've tried.
I don't care it was ***** for 90% of his tenure. The start of the season he got sacked was the worst of it, game at home to PNE on a Tuesday night springs to memory. Just dreadful.
you've some hopes mate they booed jim illey n he just missed out on promotion with a shoestring budget and a order to sell.
I don't disagree with that fella, from memory Luke Potter was playing left back that night and got ripped to pieces!!
I agree with the sentiment. However, the players have got to start putting in a damn sight more effort than what I've seen so far.
Aye and the home game against Reading springs to mind. The performances so far have been unacceptable but they will improve, i'm sure of it. At this point 4th from bottom would do me at this point.
It IS as bad as ever. Totally outclassed 2 games running, not a decent creative player at the club and a manager who's slagged the fans off after 5 minutes and more or less said we're certs for relegation! (Although looking at the players he's signed he's probably right about that).
