When people post that they wish they had known we were skint and would struggle to compete with the big spenders in our division before they'd bought their season ticket, as they wouldn't have bothered.
I think people are disappointed that the Club haven't been honest with them. We didn't expect promotion but we did think that the Club were aimming to improve on last years league position and points tally. Now Hill tells us we have to accept 4th from bottom. There were plenty of Championship level players on free transfers pre-season but Hill choses to sign up lower league players who look well out of their depth at this level. He also ignores Hassell who is a better defender than those he has brought in and plays at home with a solitary striker. Hill will be gone by Christmas if he keeps criticising the loyal fans of this Club. I know 5 regulars who are staying away.
But the point is People are upset that we can't afford to compete so they stay away/wish they hadn't bought a season ticket, when it's the low crowds, and therefore low revenue that is causing the problem. So by staying away they are only making matters worse. At the risk of over simplifying the situation, I'm not saying that people should spend their money going to the games, if they don't want to, but there's no point in telling everyone how big a Reds fan they are and that they're disappointed we can't afford to compete with the big teams and then in the same breath saying they're not going to the games or wish they hadn't bought a season ticket.
gordon owen attacks the club again. the club have done nothing wrong. people who keep going on about hassell seem to think this guys a class player, wake up fools hes not. wisemans got targeted imo becuase hes took hassells place in the team. he played well in pre season and at forest but all the people that have turned up.at the well have tacken is confidence away. not forgetting hassells skocker against morecambe in cup. same old barnsley fans.
Kin'ell Hemsworth now l know what you have been going on about, tha's been getting thi Gordon's mixed up. I was beginning to think myself that l had been "attacking" the club has you put it. Stick to helping thi mother with thi stickers. And Gordon Ottershaw isn't attacking the club in his posts above but you carry on, the "tool" of the forum, people are getting more and more sick of you and your idiotic posts and ramblings.
I dont think anybody claims Hassell is a class player mate but he is no worse than what we have currently got and should be given a chance. He is our most experienced player at this level and he will give 100% which will be an improvement on the current situation if nothing else.
Is this the same Wiseman who had ten yards start from Emnes on Tuesday and was still robbed of the ball?
Tek thi mate to one side, you need to move him up to key stage 3 on his reading skills. We'll get 2 results from the next 2 games, nar si thi. Get thi £5 on two away wins, its in these type of situations when we come art feytin'.
1-0 wins away at both Reading and Millwall. It's all been part of KH's long game to generate a siege mentality at Oakwell. Light will shine out of darkness.
Hemsy's walking it, from West Yorks an all and he's got some sarnies in his "Toby Tyke" bag, tha's got a lot of catching up to do to be a superfan. Off the top of my head the only time l've heard of support quite like this was when Adam Hinchcliff went to Plymouth on his moped, using only the A roads.
