These past couple of weeks have been somewhat traumatic, but she's got there. However, one drawback is because of her anti-rejection medication for the new kidney she has to take, she's not allowed to be in an enclosed place with other people. This means absolutely no visitors, no visiting, no Dil Raj. I don't seem to have missed much in the three home games against Morecambe, Southampton & Middlesbrough. The players have obviously been missing my inspirational leadership qualities from the Ponty End(!)
The most important thing is that she's home mate - and that has to be a good sign. I've no doubt you'll give it what for at the Dil Raj when the time is right. Give her my love & best wishes fella.
Certainly will Jeff, mate and thank you for your card. She was keen to go to the Dil Raj tonight, but the consultant has given us strict instructions and we will abide by them.
Great news. It must be a massive relief for you all. Let's all hope now that Laura recovers and is able to enjoy life to the full. What about a Takeaway Kev?
That's a decent compromise, Tina. I think we'll go with your suggestion. Some of our family have asked to visit us, but we've had to say no. Hopefully, they'll understand.
Certainly is, mate. We're not out of the woods by any stretch of the imagination. But she's a lot healthier than she's been in her life. All I need now is for the team to turn round their form and pick up a couple of victories.
Thank you. Can't wait to get down to Oakwell, Gaz. It'll make a change to concentrate on football, rather than nurses!!!
Spot on, mate. At this moment, Dodworth is the finest place on earth. Mind you, I am a dopey, plonker!!
