We have finally brought Laura home

    These past couple of weeks have been somewhat traumatic, but she's got there. However, one drawback is because of her anti-rejection medication for the new kidney she has to take, she's not allowed to be in an enclosed place with other people. This means absolutely no visitors, no visiting, no Dil Raj.
    I don't seem to have missed much in the three home games against Morecambe, Southampton & Middlesbrough. The players have obviously been missing my inspirational leadership qualities from the Ponty End(!)

    She was keen to go to the Dil Raj tonight, but the consultant has given us strict instructions and we will abide by them.

    That's a decent compromise, Tina. I think we'll go with your suggestion. Some of our family have asked to visit us, but we've had to say no. Hopefully, they'll understand.

    Certainly is, mate. We're not out of the woods by any stretch of the imagination. But she's a lot healthier than she's been in her life.
    All I need now is for the team to turn round their form and pick up a couple of victories.
