Other than Rooney I wouldn't swap any Man United player for a Spurs player.
Man for man Spurs have the more gifted players.

And yet while Spurs were pinging the ball all over the field yesterday, like always, you just got the feeling that Man United are going to win this.
And its all down to MOMENTUM
The Man United players seem to have this overriding belief that they will win
No matter what Spurs did, no matter how well they played, no matter what they through at United, as soon as Man United got the ball they were going straight for the throats of Spurs.
Its as though Spurs just couldn't wrestle the momentum off Man United.
And its all down to basically a overriding psychological belief.
    Fergi must be a hypnotised.

Its incredible, the only team I have seen that can wrestle the momentum of Man United is Barcelona.

Hillficker has spoken about momentum. Lets hope they have the same psychological skills that Fergi has.

They are an incredible team and what I noticed yesterday was the general age of the team - had the likes of smalling and jones playing but still looked class. Fergie has always managed to rebuild successfully - something Chelsea need to do now but aren't in the position to do so

How yer diddling? I'm beginning to relax a bit now, after the last couple of weeks. Laura getting her new kidney followed being on my first archaeological dig means this has been a fantastic summer for me. But it means I can't take all the angst about the football club pervading the board too seriously. I'm obviously not a proper fan.Lol

On holiday this week, just pootling around the canals, easy does it . Glad to hear Laura is a bit better, I know she still has a way to go but , fingers crossed eh!
I just cant understand why Hill has to alienate some fans, the garbge that the team served up during 3 home games was disgusting to watch, a few and I mean a tiny majority of fans booed while the match was on, not clever, but I understand it,if they had booed halftime and fulltime I think mit would have been better.
Hill has gone WAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY over the top and as a concequence upset a great deal more than were booing.
But of course according to some fans on here, booing is the equivalent of first degree murder and as such should be treated to public hangings.
Bloody good job they were not around when Isley was here , lol.

Also there has been an outbreak of new posters coming on and slagging anyone that dares to have an opinion differing from the club, very strange in more ways than one.
It is getting too much like the Tykes mad site for my liking now.

Now we really DID suffer in those days!!
Sounds absolute bliss. If you can't enjoy that sort of holiday, then there's no hope for you.

I've never had a problem with people voicing a different opinion to mine and they have every right to do so. An opinion is simply that, it's not a statement of fact.

I'm certainly not going to argue with Evelyn!!
Kids don't know they're born. It was different in our day, sleeping in a hole in the road after a 28 hour shift at t'mill!!

Eating nothing but broken glass and a handful of gravel if we were lucky, birthday were a special day, we could have a bowl of gruel , to share between the 6 of us.
Try telling that to the kids today and they will not believe you!

Yorkshire men , we were hard back then, strong in arm and thick in`t ead! In some parts of Sheffield it has not changed much either.

Whippet racing, nipsy, knurr and spell, good flowing passing football, all things we see no more in Barnsley.
Ah for the good old days!
