to deny the Haynes rumours.. and we all know Mr Rowing never speaks owt but truth.. sorry if already posted
Why would PC come on? He may own the club but he pays Don to run it and I think PC probably has other things on his mind right now.
thats if DeeDar actually bother to put it on Doubletake.. its EVERY nite nar, where they leave any Reds story til the last 5 or 10 mins.. so we have to listen to best part of an hour of the Seth Bennett monologues..
so... there we have it. The Don says he has heard nowt about owt.. he said he finds it strange with it being only a few days til the window closes, that none of these clubs have approached the club regarding a transfer fee.. i found that quote strange Don.. seemed as clueless as ever.. blamed the lads agent, and admitted its affecting his performance.. its not the agent though if u ask me.. the player could well have instructed his agent to float his name around.. or maybe we need money and its us that are lying.. who knows? not me.
Not heard the interview but your account of what was said sounds like an invitation to other clubs. 'we know other clubs are interested but nobodys given us a price yet so get your offers in. Ps hes normally even better than now because the speculation is affecting his perfprmances so make it a high bid please'. Or in other words it sounds like bfc are trying to generate interest in a saleable asset to get shut just like it seemed to be the case with shackell.
I take it then that he said haynes isnt for sale and that we arent interested in recieving any offers because hes going nowhere?
I'd agree, effectively............ " come on, you all know he's for sale, you all know we're desperate for cash and you all know we got mugged over Shackell, so can you stop buggering around and get your offers in now rather than leaving it til the last minute when I'll have to act under pressure and I'm bound to **** that 'un up, end up accepting £2.50 and a blackies egg and then I'll get crucified.................again"
That's not how it came across but I'm sure there will be some inventive interpretations of what he said. It came across as him saying we've had no offers.
