Oh yes what a struggle ive had trying to sign in and i hope Barnsley dont heve the same difficulty this season you know i went for a trial to oakwell in 1942, only to be told by Mr Angus Seed "Get some horse muck in yer boots laddie" but that did not stop working at the coal face at Barrow, driving in the new terrritories Hong Kong China Driver all around the Front in Korea, 1952, Egypt 1953, then back to Dear old Barnsley on the TRACIES,with my 2 Brothers met my dear wife and got wed in 1949 but , we Literally Bumped into each other at oakwell when Barnsley played Blackburn Rovers in a crowd of 35,000, the biggest crowd ever at oakwell on the east Side any way Young ones and Oldies i drove yoou around town from 1949 till 1968 when i came to Immingham so we could enjoy Cleethorpes im still waiting to do that, but its nice to get back on the BBS, and see what going on , i rely on you to work out whats going on as for me, its always been a struggle for barnsley but win or lose, we are still there Some Wonderfull Players have Performed at oakwell may they cotinue to give you the Pleasure, they have given me all i can say is COME ON BARNSLEY

Hi Bob Great to hear from you again. I hope you are well. You must have left Trackie the year I started. I worked at Barnsley Depot, 1968-82. I served my apprenticeship there.
