    i agree kev................ i used to love pie and peas from the van as a kid, when it used to come round Ardsley estate. Bring it back NOW!!!

    Fabulous idea

    Even today, folk still love pie and peas. Remember them coming round the estate when I was a kid. Gaggin' for 'em we were.

    Used to be one come round the estate I lived on in Dewsbury when I we're a nipper, lovely they was as I remember, not seen one though for years now, shame really ....

    Someone with a bit of initiative and cash could maybe invest in one and most probably make a decent standard of living, I reckon they'd do a bomb personally...Could just eat some now....

    Can't say I've ever seen one. Used to get mobile butchers, fishmongers and fruit & veg vans, but never seen a pie & pea van.

    I remember growing up has a kid a mobile shop use to come round carlton and if i asked my dad if I could have something off it he used to always say "aye go get the back wheel" needless to say I stopped asking him and stuck to asking my mum, mission accomplished for him, lol!

    Used to have one in Grimey even in the 1980's, remember getting off the last bus from town and I'd see him on the next street and ask him to wait on our street uwhilst I went and got a bowl

    we had pop man in Darfield definitely after year 2000, not sure when he stopped coming round but only in the last few years. Ben Shaw's that was as well. Fizzy orange and dandelion and burdock every sunday

    Is the van blue ady?,there was one that used to come our street in cudeth uptill around two years ago.
