that was definitely the longest post ive ever read.. lol
but i waded thru it.. and i hear what u are saying, and while some of it makes a good point, a lot of it doesnt.. but im not going to say why or keep telling u how i think ur wrong because one, im bored of it. two, u should be bored of it, and three, a lot of posts from u and a few others are starting to get a little over-dramatic and OTT. as u keep saying, everyone is entitled to their opinion. so stop suggesting otherwise..
we are all Reds arent we? and surely, ultimately, we want the same things??

lol .....once i start nattering i can talk for the gold medal...its the lights that do it...its the same when i open the fridge door...i can do another 20minutes...
you are right when you say its getting boring (subject matter) so im going to shut mi gob...(did i hear my mouth utter thank god for that)...anyway to all those that keep falling out we should all just agree to disagree before we end up with the Davey situation that descended into all out warfare between some folk...Ive said my piece on the subject, abet a tad long but i do honestly beleive that hill created his own problem and performances both on and off the field havent helped other than fanned the flames on what is a highly emotive situation where our beloved Barnsley are concerned.

    Well

it seems as tho Mr Hill spoke out too soon for his own good, but with only five matches on the board how many fans are doing the same thing with their criticism of him. If both sides carry on in this vein then it will just spiral on and on. FFS lets our side give it a rest and lets hope he does the same.

who is ridiculing u mark? who is stopping u from having ur say?
from what i see and read, a critical, negative or doubtful thread gets posted by u or 4 or 5 others on ere, and then a larger contingent of fans tend to reply with their own slant. usually in a reasonable, well thought out manner. there is the odd remark now and again, and thats understandable when after all we are all different. ur standards, my standards, their standards, are not neccessarily going to be the same. but please take my word for it Mark when i say i want u to have a voice, and i enjoy reading ur posts. obviously i speak only for myself. im not particularly fussed what ppl think of me, but id prefer them to keep it civil, or in a decent spirit, and so i wont play by different rules when it comes to my own views of fellow users. thats why i kept using the word nellies. its not offensive. its meant in jest.
but u obviously believe that some ppl ARE being offensive and stopping u have ur say.. but i dont see it mate, and tbf, it works both ways..

because whenever a POSITIVE thread is started, there ends up being those same 4 or 5 ppl (maybe more) mocking the OP and their point of view.. i and others are apparently 'clowns'
we are apparently 'up Hills arse'
so its happening from both ends if u ask me. but theres only 1 group on ere crying foul with melodramatic posts..
and its hard also, to take a moaner seriously when theyre forming some kind of double-act with a blatant WUM. and we all know who those 2 are..
as ive said Mark, i may not agree with everything u say but more often than not i find ur contributions worth reading. so keep on keeping on.. and remember, (nudge nudge) its early days. stop expecting too much too soon.. haha! lol

That is where we disagree mate, because I have had a look back through these threads and there are very few actual negatives. There are some that have a view differing to others, there are a few that are absolutely stupid, yet there are some on here that see anything that is said that Hill himself did not say, as something akin to heresy!
I do agree that it has gotten all out of proportion and I believe that Hill is a big catalyst in this, Hill time and again comes out with codswallop about how the fans dont understand that we are skint, that we cant afford to buy the best players available, we do understand all that, but what we dont understand is why talk himself up to be the dogs danglies, then blame everything under the sun when the team do not produce.
I believe it is not the fans that thought it was going to be easy, but Hill himself, just because he beat BFC with Rochdale last season he assumed it was a piece of pee managing in the Championship.
I think he started to believe the he really was an amazing manager, one that had the midas touch and forgot about the hard work needed to be able to back it up.

It is going to be a long hard road this season, but it is up to Hill and Flitcroft to ensure that we stay up, because that is what they are paid for ad I can assure you that they are getting a damn sight more money a week than me or you and it is US that pay to be at Oakwell and without the fans he will not have a team to manage.

    No.

I would like to drive Keith Hill out.
    Then drive Patrick Cryne out.
Then drive our best players out.
Next - I'll drive the fans away.

    I am a Minibus driver.

    Bum ... tish.

    Cheer up, you miserable knuts.

we can all agree to disagree mate as long as its within reason, you never know the last couple of weeks coupled with hopefully a couple of decent results/performances in the next 2 home games might allow everybody to calm down a little and start lookin forward with hope rather than pessimism
