Possibly the quietest away fans i've heard, especially with the numbers they brought. I think they got confused by this boycotting nonsense, they weren't supposed to turn up to the game, not pay the £30 and then not turn up. We were definatly the noisier of the two supports yesterday, and that's really saying something. Credit to our fans yesterday who were back to their best, lets hope we can keep it up, even when the cold weather comes along.
Thought the opposite until we scored. Although their main song was 'Shall we Sing a Song For You' - But they didn't. And what was the point of the smoke bomb they let off when they equalised. Nowt like gassing your own fans.
They started off singing, but we sang them down, a very unusual thing to happen these days. They woke up when they equalised, but were quiet considering the number. Now if we can get the East Stand to start making some noise, we might begin to get a decent atmosphere.
Got to agree, I don't think I heard them properly until after they scored. But I think I'd be depressed if we had that spendaholic to55er as our manager. Another example of how football makes rich men of below average **** heads.
