had me on hold half hour! least i got it out there.. just didnt get chance THIS TIME to give em grief about owt. it was about 5 to 7 when i got put thru like.. and i thought to mi sen, 'keep it civil Andy' and get the msg about 16 quid out there.. plenty of other occasions to have a verbal joust with the deedars.
Seth got a bit tongue-tied and it didn't come across too well but fortunately Whitey did come across well and I think the message came across loud and clear.

it was about 7 or 8 minutes before the end pal.. he kept me on hold for ages.. and as funnyfella (think it was him) said, u have to listen to the show down the blower. very weird. the guy before me - a blunt i think - waffled on and on for about 5 mins. so by the time he came to me i knew i was likely to get just a minute or so to make a point. so i actually got a little mind-freeze, and had to improvise. i was expecting Seth to cut me off at any time, so it wasnt ideal. i said i echoe the sentiments of Gally msg, and that we need to get down Oakwell in numbers while its half-price.. i even said "blah blah blah" a few times i think! LoL just because i knew it was late and he was liable to cut me. but im glad to hear from a fellow sensible red, Mario, that i got the point across ok. it wasnt too bad for a 1st attempt at such a thing! ;D probably call em again tmra, or thursday/friday to keep reinforcing it. although tmra it will be all about the MASSIVE results this evening! at least you went on mate... I would love to but just haven't got the guts. also they make my blood boil so much at the moment I dont think I could keep calm enough without sounding a lovely person
Re: at least you went on mate... That’s what puts me off. I think Seth (in particular) would wind me up so much I would end up being cut off - not that I would shout and swear but I would vociferously challenge his lame facts about RS and he wouldn’t like it.
