    I am glad we got shut!
    I will never accept the need for taking drugs(illegal drugs). Anyone caught witrh them should be booted out of SPORT!!!

    Absolutely.

    But on top of that to now be charged with fraud (see link above) - as I said, hell of a week for him.

    No difference at all mate. Both are illegal, that means neither are better than the other,anyone cuaght with ANY illegal drug or illegal use of a drug, should be booted out of Sport. I am not just talking about football either , I mean in ANY sport.

    It's a stimulant. Gives you more energy and allows you to keep working longer.

    Is it defined in the same way as hormone stimulants etc etc?

    All I'm saying is that those convicted of using performance enhancing drugs for the purpose of cheating should be kicked out. Those that have a line of coke at the weekend should be dealt with by the law.

    No they're not. You can get 'legal' performance enhancers, professional sportsmen are just banned from using them. Like blood doping isn't 'illegal' for you and I. I don't think, anyway.

    As did Shaun Newton when playing for West Ham. Tested positive after their FA Cup semi-final against Middlesbrough.

    Cocaine is considered a performance enhancing drug, that's why it's on the banned list in all major sports.

    Performance enhancing? Gary O'Connors must have been well cut then by the time it got to him 2% coke 98% Sherbet Dip, maybe Mostto brought it over for him and they went halves.

    It's not usually used that way

    And players tend to get banned for much longer if they test positive for cocaine during competition. Chances are O'Connor was using it recreationally and he tested positive after the drug testers turned up at Birmingham's training sessions.
