wheres best place to scrap your car?

    Looking to scrap my car soon as its practically dead. Anyone know best one to go to for best price and that?

    You got done mate, you should have had at least £180. £120 is the price the Gypos get for knocked off gear.

    Got four quotes from local scap yards all between £100-£120. I got told that one down Carlton would offer me around £170 but they could only give me £120 too.

    That is strange mate. I know someone that has just scrapped an Astra and got over £200.

    do they take your log book off ya at the scrappies, as if they don't fill the form in and send it back to the dvla, it might still be on their the dvla records as on the road

    My recommendation would be

    At Morrisons.

    I can't count the number of times I've scraped my car on those ****ing black bollards that you can't see in your mirror when you're reversing.
