And seeing every lad in a Barnsley shirt giving 100% for the cause, too. I'd accept we're lacking a bit of a cutting edge up front, but once we have Davies & Haynes available from injury that may not be a problem. I thought Perkins was outstanding, but a special mention for Steve Foster who, in my opinion, was a rock at the back.
Once again, thoroughly enjoyable performance. Only the three points were lacking.

Playing well, but still not convinced with Perkins, although I like his workrate, his skill is a bit lacking.
Results have to come though, the work is there but not the luck.

Proper entertainment again. Keep it up and we will be fine, with happy fans (most of us anyway).

He had a very good game today, always involved, always looking for the ball, unlucky not to score.

You mean that lack of skill which produced a superb crossfield pass which led to our equaliser? Or that lack of skill curling the ball against their post in the opening moments?:)
Sorry old mate, but in my opinion, Perkins has shown his worth to the team these last two home games. I'd much rather have him in the team than the likes of Colace & Arismendi, for example.

I agree. I don't doubt, though, that some will complain, as is their right. My right will be to totally ignore them.

    Re: Agree 100%

I'd be more worried if we weren't creating chances. Thankfully, we are.

Couldn't have put it better myself Kev! Perkins has proved to myself he is a solid championship player. Well deserved the MOTM award

You great, big, cuddly teddy bear!!
I thought Foster was terrific again today. Both Edwards & McNulty seem to be very comfortable with him at the side of them.

    Me too
Its a few years since we have played that style of football. Best game I have seen Perkins play same for OBrien. If we can keep up this style the results and fans will come

Well said, Dave mate. O'Brien looks a totally different player this season, as does Andy Gray.

Perkins was outstanding. Got his teammates out of trouble a few times, very unlucky not to score, and I don't really remember him giving the ball away.

Completely agree Kev - even though we've failed to win the last 2 games, the performances have been a joy.

Hopefully, the manager will stick to his footballing principles. I don't the next victory will be far away if we continue to play in the style we are doing.
