Potter will struggle to get a game if and when he gets fit. Addison will not get a game and needs sending back to derby.
Rest inside a couple of weeks

he was out for 10 weeks wasnt he? so still a long way to go and dt potter and addison would get games. what dont you understand about 16 pros fit? if addison or potter was fit they would be on bench. theyve also played quite well for barnsley both of them.

i feel for potts because hes not been fit for so long. the last time he was fit he played 3 months of football and played well at lb and first game of the run at cb at cardiff.

addison played very well at nf but you blame the two home games on him. mind boggling some people.

Potter could do with a loan move. Wasn't good enough before he got injured so certainly won't be good enough when he's not injured.

Addison should be sent back to Derby ASAP, let's just forget about him and the strange loan deal.

Potters not good enough for the championship. Ergo will be leaving the club as and when his contract expires in the summer is it?
As it stands now he would be third choice left back and even further down the pecking order at centre half.
As for addison. No doubt big money is being paid out for him and from what I have seen a midfield with pace leaves him for dead as he has a turning circle akin to the ark royal.
There is better out there as drinkyater has shown.

typical dt, what dont you understand about 16 FIT players?

was going to say juat about the injury count.
it makes me laugh my socks off when i readhes not good enough. remember buttersfields crap, hes not good enough for grinsby.
potters played well, saw enough of him against wed reserves last season to show hes still got it. just hope this last ops is last.
addisons very good, midfielders with pace leaves him. mcgugan didnt.

I understand about the injury crisis but that's going off on a tangent.
While it is commendable that you defend the abilities of the home grown players you need to take the rose tinted specs off and actually realise that being a world beater in the reserves doesn't mean that they will push on into the first team at this level.
Potter isn't good enough for the championship. Nor will be a majority of the young players currently on the books. In the last ten years the number of players coming through the ranks at barnsley making it consistantly at championship level stands at one. The odds are good that buttercup will make number two.

As for addison its no coincidence that once he was out of the team the performances have improved dramatically.

the team performance and addison isnt really connected as the team played higher up the pitch.

dt, it wasnt long ago that you said rnl wouldnt do anything and then bang good 45 at watford motd against doncaster stunning goal that won the match against millwall to go along with been the youngst player in fl.

got told butts wasnt good enough by anyone and everyone. i told them that they were wrong and he would be good enough. 3/4 years on. regular in first team and captain on sat against watford.

just listen to the interview with hill, obrien and with ronnie branson.
the people who know thier skills understand that they have the talent to make it and more.

erm yes it is, we play higher up the pitch without addison because we can, he is 2 slow to fit into the quick passing game we are tryin to adapt
