Stronger together and all that....... Although i would hazard a guess it is Gally trying to help the club rather than the Don changing his views.......

I don't know if he's ever hated the BBS as I'm not sure he ever reads it. I know he has had threads brought to his attention at times, maybe more so in the past than now as personell have changed. I also don't think he really gives a damn about people having a pop at him online or taking the ****, indeed, I think he finds it amusing at times. He does, however, take issue when people are having a go at the club staff as, often, we don't get to hear both sides of the story and the club staff don't get the chance to have their say. I can understand his point!

Patrick and Don both subscribe to the notion that the club is about the fans and the community and as such want us *all* to pull in the same direction. If this means occasionally meeting with myself or others to explain the issues or difficulties us, as fans, have and also to gain understanding from a club point of view then I think Don is more than happy to do so. I also think he would be open to working more closely with the fans.

It's up to us I guess. We can continue down the us and them route that we often see on here or hear down the pub or we can subscribe to the stronger together principle. The simple truth is that we all want the same things for the Football Club. We will be more successful, in my opinion, if we as fans work with the club rather than against them. Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I think he finds it amusing at times Problem 1 he thinks anyone whose opinion is different to his is a joke

I think Don is more than happy to do so. only after trying to humiliate you

I also don't think he really gives a damn about people could not agree more

I have and I mostly agree with Tyrone, he may have changed in the last 12/18 months or so but he was pretty much as described.
Minds you according to most on here Simon Davey was a lovely man, I must have met his evil twin brother!!

I was just wondering as they are pretty strong views. I've spoken to him once and with it being after the Liverpool ticket incident I fully expected him to be an arrogant t0sspot but I was completely wrong as he came across as a very nice bloke who was committed to working hard for BFC.
