    I'm guessing Gally has changed the settings

    Specifically how long you have to be inactive before you're knocked off the browser list.

    Before, you just had to turn away for a second and you were excluded so it looked as though no one was browsing. Now, so long as you've heard of the BBS you're considered an active user (well, used the board in the last two hours).

    Definitely makes it look busier though. If only it were.

    Yes you are correct. I upped the login time out so people stay logged in longer. Probably gone too far the other way ;)

    Do I remain logged in if I've closed the browser window?

    Because I have it set to remain logged in and I just open the bookmark, read the site and then close browser without logging out of the site

    Same here. I ticked the remember box and I never get logged out even when I close the browser.

    Right. Must admit I seem to find myself logging in quite a bit which is what made me think that there was issue with this. Does anyone else find this?

    When it changed to this new board I ticked the 'remember me' thing and I've never had to log in again.
