Sounds daft but if someone said to me you'll play like that every week and go down, I'd be giddy as f.ck for League One.

Work rate, class on the ball, desire, movement, energy all in abundance in the first half. As good a performance I rthink I've ever seen from us, particularly away from home. Yeah they came back into it second half and it changed when they brought on an international 6 million striker. That's what we're up against.

A few mentions:

My shirt today was one I had made up. It just sez 'Glavin & Redfearn & Hignett". I'm gonna get a permanent marker and put Perkins underneath. My new hero. Amazing work rate and desire. And a horrible little *******.

Drinkwater and Butterfield made up the holy trinity and were top - Drinkwater's been the difference from the first 3 /4 games. Actually goes forward (get yer note book art Doyle/Addison).

McNulty and Foster were quality and McEveley was solid. As good as he played.

But Andy Gray, Andy Andy Gray. Anyone who moans/complains at you is a muppet. As big a shift as possible today, worked his balls off and did everything he could.
