    Agreed - One player i detest. With a passion..... Surely John Ryan cant really be serious. Thought he tries to promote a nice family club at the Keepafloat. Horrible person. Did work with Saunders at Blackburn though.

    I dont think its just the spitting thing people are bothered about its is general attitude, he's trouble whereever he's been. I'd rather have J0ey Barton mentoring the Youth Team whilst smoking a cigar.

    If we were talking about ability alone, I'd have him at Oakwell. But since he carries a lot of baggage, and causes trouble wherever he goes, Donny are more than welcome to him.

    The thing is Nudge its not just the spitting althought that is enough on its own; its everything about the man. On a list of players I would not have at Oakwell he would be in the top three. And IMO spitting is about as low as you can go; I'd rather be punched in the face than spat at - absolutely disgusting thing to do. I don't ever remember him being a fantastic player, he has had good times but he has never been a fantastic player IMO so surely for the wages he will ask for Donny can get better.

    That's enough for me, it is the lowest of the low and he does it as a matter of course. Despicable character, because of the spitting.

    Imo opinion he's not that good. Had a decent 2002 world cup, had an awful time at Liverpool and hasn't picked up much since. Doesn't score many goals, probably gets sent off more than he scores. I'd rather chop my left knacker off than sign him tbh.
