    as good as he was for us while here i always believe you should never go back to an old club, rarely works out, plus hill appears to be building a good team ethos with the players he has, would a player like howard who wanted to be the main man fit into hills philosophy

    Personally i think he would his work ethic was great. Will he come back. I doubt it.

    Who would he replace in our side? Would have been a waste of a loan deal, if you ask me.

    Amen to that.
    He may still have 'something' but if he cant get a game at Reading right now then he cant be up to much.
    And the best thing about our team during our unbeaten run has been the inclusion of Danny Drinkwater. Who has allowed Perks and Butts to run the show. We have a central midfield trio to die for, especially now J is getting his goals. That wonder strike, and forthcoming new contract will only enhance the lads confidence and ability.
    Im quite optimistic that Drinker could be a permanent addition eventually too. Why not?
    And Perks is shoving the insults and doubting Thomases words down their throats. The lad is the best 29 year old nobody Ive ever seen.
    Put it this way, if we had Colace and Arismendi instead of Perks and Drinker, we'd be at bottom IMO.
    **** Howard. We need a goalscorer.

    Lol, well said Mark. All these people saying we need a goalscorer in the side, where exactly would he fit? For me Gray is playing a tremendous role for the team, and plays the lone-striker role effectively. Holds the ball up well for the support of the midfield. We need a goalscoring midfielder IMO, I just hope Jacob is that man. But Brian Howard would be the perfect player for us. Although for me you couldn't drop Jacob for Bri at this moment in time. If he can score the quantity of goals required then it'll be 'Bri Who?'

    Is the answer Diego Leon? I seem to remember being told we wouldn't miss Brian Howard because we had Diego Leon and he was a better player.:)

    I actually agree, mate. But when I was a teenager, I thought I knew everything about football. Now I'm an old man, I realise I knew (and still know) nothing!

    I dont think he was the worst in the entire history of BFC, but he is down there close to the bottom.
