If one of our players was caught law-breaking/involved ina sex scandal/gay would we want him suspended ar are we footy supporters a forgiving lot?
I would like to see him out of Oakwell if the act was proven, suspended until then. But I am an old giffer that thinks footballers should be accountable to the same laws as the rest of us, so I am in the minority with modern fans.
Re: Suspended for being gay? I was not actually meaning Gay at all, in fact I never saw it as that. I just saw law breaking /sex scandal. I have no problems with any sexuality, I am sure that there are plenty of Gay footballers in the professional game, it makes no difference to their ability.
