Got a problem with my car (Toyota Aygo). It's not an old car - done about 24,000 miles. It doesn't want to go in gear. It's a real effort to shift it from gear to gear, feels like I have to really force it, particularly first. Can't get it to a garage today, so I wondered if it's likely to be a quick fix problem, or if the gearbox is damaged? Any ideas?
take it to the scrap yard and then buy another...or get someone to burn it out in wombwell woods...... i am sure some crackhead will do it for a score. i hope this helps
try looking under your clutch pedal (thats the one on the far left) you'll probably find your hand bag wedged there
Re: try looking under your clutch pedal (thats the one on the far left) You need to depress the clutch first
Re: try looking under your clutch pedal (thats the one on the far left) Haha very funny. That sticky up thing I'm trying to shift about is the gear stick then?
Re: so you are having trouble getting a sticky up thing to go in...is that reyt when my car did exactly the same- seemed impossible to get into first without brute force it was gear selector cable gone cost 60 quid for part free labour as it was a mate but then again I have got a fiat...
