That should have said "rich" list but this edits $hit and won't let you edit the header. Up £2 million from last year, so thats where the Shackell went! (Smiley face thingy) meaning that was a joke. http://fourfourtwo.com/lists/thefootballrichlist201112thefull100.aspx
the real powerhouse at doncaster, **** Watson...not that idiot john ryan sits in the 50's with over 90m..... 3 times richer than our paddy.... http://fourfourtwo.com/lists/thefootballrichlist201112thefull100.aspx
christ should have read it all properly as there is this guy too - Terry Bramall £425m whos minted and on the keepmoat/doncaster board....
Terry Bramalls the one with t*t on. They have had all these directors in place since they were in League 1 and still said they had no money to spend, they plug the £3 million gap every year. That O'Brien is nothing to do with them, lazy journo, he bought the old Belle Vue land off John Ryan.
For a start nobody on here knows how much money PC has.......... ...........but its obviously not enough to maintain a Championship club So as much as we are thankful for PCs time and money, things have moved on and we need new wealtheir owners
Re: For a start nobody on here knows how much money PC has.......... I think Cryne would be the first to agree with you but so far he hasn't found any suitable investors.

In the past PC has backed us to the hilt........but things have changed... .........Mark Robins had a good bite of the cherry last season, but in my opinion he sometimes spent unwisely This season it looks like Keith hill has had very little to spend.........for this reason the club needs to be off loaded to someone who can move the club forward. I think we have a management team at the WELL at this moment that could do some big things if they are given time and an increase in the MONEY available to them. For example- Hill has done fantastically well in his building of the defence and midfield - so where would we be in the league table if we had money to find a striker (bought or loaned) while this injury crisis persists?
Re: For a start nobody on here knows how much money PC has.......... When you look at some of the clubs with loads of money on the board you wonder why the millionaires would invest in them, small grounds, no history, lower tier clubs for the past 100 years, poor fan base, limited to where they can actually take the club....l would have thought a cheap to purchase established Championship club with a fan base of around the 10k mark over the past few years and the potential of increasing that to 14-18k with a bit of backing and being up there challenging would be an interesting investment. Surprised no one has stepped in and taken the reigns.
Re: In the past PC has backed us to the hilt........but things have changed... Hill was brought in precisely because of what he can do with little money....if we had more money I don't think we'd have brought him in.
Re: In the past PC has backed us to the hilt........but things have changed... Always thought Danny Wilson was like that, worked well with little but not too good with money, us in the Premiership and when he blissfully relegated the Owls.
Plot thickens at Pikey land, 4-4-2 have amended Mr O'Brien so he has no current connections at DRFC. Where's the money coming from then? I'm not putting in their buckets next season. 7. Denis O'Brien £2.517bn Celtic (Last year £1.87bn, 7th) Although no longer a director of Doncaster Rovers since the Yorkshire club was reorganised under the company name Patienceform (see entries 24, 59 and 82), Irish entrepreneur Denis O'Brien now has a 2.82% stake in Celtic. Obviously, football hasn't made him rich: that would be his wise moves in the telecoms industry. He started by winning a local radio licence in 1989 for Dublin; two years later he established Esat Telecom, which became the first company to compete against former state-owned telephone company Eircom. He also established Esat Digifone and won Ireland's second GSM license, to compete against the then state-owned telephone company's mobile section, Eircell. In 2000 O'Brien sold Esat Telecom to BT for $2.9 billion, collecting £175m for his stake. He then launched Digicel, a Caribbean-based mobile company now worth £1.6 billion after debt. That dwarfs his £1m stake in Celtic, as do other assets including the £36m Quinta do Largo golf resort in Portugal and a 21.6% stake in Irish News & Media.
Re: For a start nobody on here knows how much money PC has.......... A wunt mind a wealthy bird then l could f*ck football right off, si thi. Cold weathers coming an all.
Re: For a start nobody on here knows how much money PC has.......... They should do a 'summer' season ticket. F.ck off the cold Tuesday neets in January and enjoy 13 games in August, September, March, April & May.
Re: For a start nobody on here knows how much money PC has.......... Or build a Barnsley Arena and play indoors, make the Season Tickets £500 and extra if they want a cushioned seat.
Re: For a start nobody on here knows how much money PC has.......... £500? Bargain. James G will gladly pay £2k and live in a box to pay for it. As we all should.
Re: In the past PC has backed us to the hilt........but things have changed... My thought exactly Gord.
