You can't really blame the club for being half arsed about it when you consider the half arsed support. There have been four or five games at £16 over the last year which in today's market is too low a price and we still got **** attendances. If people wanted to prove a point they should have turned up to the Watford game but they didn't, and all SuperTykes's ******** about advertising does not change this.
It's not a matter of blaming the club, just saying how I see this offer. I agree with you regards the half arsed support. It would need to be a tenner or less to bring some people to the game, and that is not sustainable. They may as well not bother though, because this offer will make no difference.
Cuckoo. When I saw that, I assumed it was gonna be Hull for a tenner. And, again, having to go down to the ground before the game isn't going to attract the main people you wanna - walk in fans. And anyone that thinks paying 30 quid to watch us v the worst side in the league is ok is fcking mental.
worst team in league did i miss 36 games plus cup game its a bit cold for may isnt it? did i travel in a time machine or have i been a sleep for 7 month? surely this is a more importantt game for bfc than most as they will finish in bottom half. ffs its october, letsgetrealfolks.
Football is so over priced that it has sent people mental You seem like a rational bloke Owen yet here you are saying that £53 for two games of football at Oakwell in the space of a few days is a reasonable price. A good deal. Two second tier English football games for fifty three English pounds. Incredible. It's a ******* outrageous price! It's so far above what someone should be paying that I find it difficult to get my head around. And usually level headed people have got so wrapped up in the complete disgrace that football admission prices are that they try to convince others they're getting a good deal. It's madness. Football clubs like Barnsley won't be functioning much longer. The ridiculous prices being asked will simply destroy the support. It's already happening. Fans are turning their backs and they'll never return; priced out of it by a sport that has lost all sense of reality. And the really sad thing is that a number of fans will have cheered the clubs along while they have been self annihilating.
They did. But after 10 games they were the worst side in the league 'cos they'd lost the most. When we play Bristol, they'll probably be statistically the worst side in the league.
no i didnt, i said been bottom in OCTOBER doesnt mean you are the worst team in the champ season 2011/2012. anythingstillspossible
Re: Football is so over priced that it has sent people mental That's the key point though - they have been priced out by football itself - not by BFC. If the going rate for a second tier game is £30 then that's what we have to charge to even try and compete. I think the club have done what they can to keep prices low - they have the best priced season ticket in the division. So bearing in my mind what other clubs charge what do you think is a realistic price?
yes they did. table in october table means nothing. if they are there april 31 then they are the worse. you've confused me and isnt this the time you say you cant understand me?
