What is the single biggest reason why this BBS is dying?

What is the cause? Why are people leaving this site in droves? why are the most regular of posters only occasionally viewing and/or posting on this site when previously they posted on a very regular basis?

It can't be the new format because the BBS was on its arse for a while before the change. So what can it be? Oh yes, now I think about it its blindingly obvious. The one single biggest cause that is turning people away from the BBS is that obnoxious bellend from Hemsworth.

Well done lad, you've managed to take a site that couldnt handle the huge numbers of traffic and turn it into one that at times gets a post every few hours. Now what does that say about the kind of person you are?

I don't think that's a very fair comment.

Hemsworth may not be everybody's choice of favourite poster, but the BBS has survived far greater traumas than he could ever replicate.

Personally I don't like the new setup. The format isn't nice, the colours are all wrong, the threads jump about so you press on the wrong one when you want to read something. There seems to be a BBS fatigue among folk, they don't seem as interested, I don't feel as interested, I don't always have a lot to say. Sometimes I think it's wnak. Often I've better and more interesting things to do.

There have been some reight tawts on here, and there always will be. To single somebody out like that without a proper justification is a bit cheap if I may say so.

 

In my opinion the decline started long before the BBS changed format (although I concede that that has not helped at all) and the decline started when he appeared and set out on his task to annoy as many people as possible and hijack as many threads as possible.

Very harsh SuperTyke. Most people wouldn't stop posting just because of
one person and he's not that offensive anyway.

For me a lot of people whose posts I liked to read or to have a debate with are no longer posting such as S.M. There are still some people I like to debate with (I'm sure they know who they are) but if they stopped posting I think I would.

d,The bloody horrid way some idiots are typing and trying to be funny
e, Bell ends that cannot think for themselves and will not under any circumstances accept that they are wrong.
f, Tyhe constant drivel being posted at the moment.

But apart from that everything is just fine and dandy on here.
I can accept that there are plenty on here that do not like me or what I post, fair enough, but things tend to get a bit stupid with threatening pm`s etc.

I must be going ****ing nuts because I thought this thread wanted me to answer why this BBS was dying, yet when I answered I am attacked by someone I actually said was not the only problem, but I may have be wrong on that score!

Well i actually think today as been quite a busy day on the bbs.

Sometimes i like to get people posting and then people have ago at me for posting and getting others to post.
