    I would have thought it would last more likely about one and a half hours!

    Which, sad as it may seem, is about 33p per minute. Injury time is, of course, free of charge.

    Throughout much of the 2000s I couldn't afford a season ticket

    But I could afford to pay on the day. So the club got my money one way or another.

    Fortunately I can now afford a season ticket so I get one. But if I was still in the same situation as I was a few seasons back then there's no way I could pay £30 or £25 to go to a game. So the club wouldn't have got any of my money.

    How does it help the club to have a devoted fan not paying any money to the club?

    If all the seats were full then it would be just tough luck on me, but the stadium is two thirds empty.

    I know but I don't want to get into petty bickering. If he wants to debate then as I've no axe to grind, that's great. If he wants to ignore any other view point then I'll 'jog on'. I really haven't got the stomach for a BBS skit, I'm in my early 50s and I have a level of life experience and knowledege that being an 'old git' brings, but that doesn't mean I can't be wrong and that I can't learn from other people's opinions.

    He won't like it being proven in black and white, even though they are there for public viewing. He's left this thread now though, usually happens rather than him say "ok so you can find out the turnover etc..."

    all i said was that figure seems low thats all. I was expecting it to be 8/9 million tbh but if thats what it is then fair enough.

    I'd imagine last seasons wage bill to be higher than the figures for the season BFC Dave posted, it'll be interesting when those are out.

    Unemployment headlines: highest total in 17 yrs, highest rate in 15 yrs, record unemployment in young people, biggest drop in part time jobs
