Maybe my worries are unfounded and correct me if I'm wrong with any part of my assumptions, but, the recent talk of Mr Crynes health problems and the possible sale of the club, what have we, as fans, got to look forward to ? Questions run through my mind, the main one being ..... Who would want to 'buy' and invest money in a club with so little in the way of assets (other than the players). The Stadium, training and academy facilities, surrounding land, including car parks all belong to other 'companys' .... has this been a stumbling block with any interested parties ? Discuss !
We certainly don't seem like an attractive investment to anybody with no other interest in the club. What exactly does a new owner get? Like you say BFC comprises of a squad of players and the league share, that is it. Unless PC/BMBC is prepared to include the stadium and training facilities etc in the sale. I honestly can't see where our next owners are going to come from.
Ah ! ... the league share .... what if a new owner bought the club and did 'a Wimbledon' .... moved the club to another town and renamed ?
i can confirm that thereev will be buying the club once his internet business has thrived. this may take a couple of years but i will ride to the rescue and then you will all love me even more. The first job will be to shut this forum down and ban all you fookers from the ground..... giorthee and orsenkaht will be offered places on the board.
It is entirely possible. Even if a new owner bought the ground, facilities, the whole shebang, what is to stop them from developing on the land and moving us on?Anything is possible. How probable it is is another matter.
Not sure it is possible to love you even more, you must have noticed how popular you are on here. And thanks for reassuring us on the future of our club, worries are over everybody.
there may be a place on the board for you too Ponty72 as you won the contest on the 'thereev - honest opinions' thread.
Working with you, sorry for you, with Mr Kaht and Gioorthee. Can't wait, what an opportunity. Not to be missed. Thank you so much.
Nowt to worry about. When Hillcroft guide us back to the promised land and the 10000 part-timers return, BFC will be a sound investment... just living up to my 'supposed' tag as a happy-clapper
