You don't know that would've happened so how can you possibly say that.
These documents should have been released a long time ago then maybe the bereaved families would have finally had some sort of closure

Been trapped in death alley a couple of times. Once I was crushed up right behind a police horse thinking 'please god don't let it kick', would have made a bit of a mess of me.

Policing broke down, not end of, Typical Tory cover up.

The families deserve closure on this. The Tory gutter press, particularly The Sun, should have been closed down for the things they printed. Instead the Govt buried their heads in the sand.
get this out in the public domain where it should've been years ago.
bet Tyrone would've had a different viewpoint had it been a Labour Govt.

The whole thing stank then and still does.

Politics did and still does come into it, why are they debating it in parliament today then?
Tt was not a cheap and nasty shot. I believe you would ve had more to say if it had been a labour Govt in power at the time and done the same things as the Tory Govt. The cheap and nasty comments should be used against certain sections of the media/press (Tory controlled) at the way they covered this tragedy.

Rubbish blaming the government of any particular party will achieve nothing

As a mater of SYP are run by a labour controlled panel. but has nothing to do with the fact that 96 people died and should be left to rest in peace

    GOODNESS ME SHOW SOME RESPECT

Re: Policing broke down, not end of, Typical Tory cover up.

Absolute nonsense. Your posts alone show the contempt and disregard football fans where held in. They were demonised as the enemy within by the government and this culture lead to the disaster. Following the Bradford tragedy Lord Popplewells report recommended the removal of all fences at football grounds. It was ignored by the government and football authorities and was a fundamental part of the cause combined with the lack of preparation and ineptitude of senior police, operating under tge government's edict of hardline control.

But this is about the political climate created by Thatcherism which demonised working classes, that having caused the tragedy the police and government allowed the blame to be wrongly levelled at the victims. This release will show how complicit the government were in the cover up and finally allow those affected to gain some semblance of closure.

I'm sorry but you are the one not showing the respect. The victims want and are entitled to a full disclosure if all the facts. Denying them that is what is disrepectful.
