And the majority of those 8 players are likely to be in or around the starting 11

    Hassell
    McEveley
    Haynes
    Done
    Perkins
    Lovre
    RNL
    Potter

With the majority of these players back and giving Hill more options (we are limited with the subs at the moment) could we push on up the table and be sitting in the top half ready to push on for the 2nd half of the season. I think it could be possible, maybe then the stayaway supporters will sit up and take note. I feel like a lot of people are now beginning to hear about the good football we are playing, maybe a few will start to get their "ORA Bosancic number 15" shirts out of the bottom drawer.

That's a very good point, mate. Credit to the manager, too, for refusing to use such a long injury list to make excuses.

I genuinely don't care where we finish as long as we keep playing the way we do.

The difference between Eddie Howe (bairning about injuries to his strikers when he's got £6 million up front) and Hill is unreal. Think he's mi new hero.

We need to sign Drinkwater up though. Now. Might set up a PayPal for donations.

I'd rather we didn't go down like.

There's a team not far from here that constantly use that as an excuse and their supporters can be heard to say "we would have been in the play offs if it wasn't for the injury list" even though they finished on 48 pts and would have gone down any other season. Their injury list was mainly the squad players. Yes credit to Hill - didn't he say "it shouldn't be used as an excuse" or something along those lines...

Oh, I'd prefer we didn't. But I can honestly say, hand on heart, I wouldn't be suicidal if we did playing the way we are.

Well l thought we are closer to the play offs than the relegation places so i'd be like the complete opposite of "thereev" and be a bit positive. We have had a tough start to the season on paper and picked up some impressive points, the players are beginning to look more composed and confident on the ball with each game as well.

Threaten them all with season tickets for Bramall Lane & Hillsborough and make attendance obligatory! Violence ceases immediately!!:D

I would say two of those players have no future at the club and a third doesn't feature in the short term plans.

I hope you're right about the stay aways but I can't see it.

That said, how many would walk straight back into the team?

You can't leave Perkins out with the form he's been on this season, however Doyle has done well since coming back into the team.

Hassell's maybe a better option than Wiseman, but even he had a decent game last night.

Hence why l used the word the "majority". I only think Potter wouldn't feature, Lovre we don't know yet and Haynes hasn't played enough under Hill, maybe he will begin to show some good form and attitude when he returns.

Top twelve based on performances so far is a realistic criteria ,consistency is the key word.

Cant see why not. Do we really need to keep bringing this injury thing up because for me its been a good thing in that most of the squad have played some part so early in the season, including some of our youngsters, and most of them have played in good team performances and must surely be craving to get another chance. So Hill must be delighted in knowing he has a capable squad and not one that relies on a nucleus of its players.
