If you can bear to watch the video through, you've got a stronger stomach than me. Heartbreaking. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...irl-Wang-Yue-2-run-bystanders-watch-dies.html
Heard about it but could'nt bear to watch. Must be bad for the chinese government to pass a law making it illegal not to give assistance in future, the good samaritans law i think they're calling it.
I am sure the Chinese govt have played their part in creating a society like that in the first place.
When you read this part of the article - 'Many people in China are hesitant to help people who appear to be in distress for fear that they will be blamed. High-profile lawsuits have ended with good Samaritans ordered to pay hefty fines to individuals they sought to help' - it made me wonder if the ambulance chasing compensation culture created by the Americans had reached China. No matter what the case is to walk by a dying child is beyond comprehension
It must be a very cruel society if so many can just walk past a little girl laid in the road, bleeding and dying. I can't get my head around that mentality at all. The drivers who just drove over her are beyond description, I just can't see how they could do it and not know what they had done.
by the posts on here and what i've heard at work i just could'nt bring myself to watch.this incident has been caught on camera thats brought the case to attention.what the hell has happened in the past and off camera to brutalise people to that extent. i have seen enough death, destruction and dehumanising brutality to last a thousand lifetimes but events still happen that astound me.
according to mirror this morning the van driver was using his mobile.it makes my blood boil when i see people doing this in this country, really heavy sentences are needed to combat this scourge.
I agree with that 100%. I see it so often it's clear there just isn't a enough of a deterrent to stop it. I see people coming out of car parks on phones and think why the hell didn't they stay parked up. Using mobiles while driving should result in a ban.
Agree, even the Gypsies I know wouldn't do that, they'd be the first to help believe me.... Those folk who walked past are to quote Kempes, rotten to the core....
