The common thread in his interviews is, he prepared the players but they didnt produce or its the fans or anything bar sorry guys it was me I dropped a rickett and got it wrong. How can he have got to his age in football management without realising attacking your own fans is wrong and massively counter productive. The fact is every club have a minority of idiots who will boo for any reason (thats life theses days) but when you have a team that turn out a crap first half on the back of a diabolical performance the previous week a lot more fans ( who after all given up their time and money for the cause) will be tempted to join in given that they were promised a team who would come out of the blocks determined to put things right and instead got a non event.
Agreed, said the same last time around when he stated blaming fans. Even if that's what he thinks, he needs fans onside. I've given him credit when he deserves it, but frankly his attitude gets on my nerves.
I have to agree. I dont see how he can try and blame anyone other than the players and himself for that first half today. It was utter sh.it and completely unacceptable as is blaming the fans.
todays performance was nothing to do with fans.bad tactics, poor performances no clues how to get back on track, was our downfall. be interesting to see if they perform on tuesday after hills statement. Positives-Craig Davies goal, hopefully kick starts our season. fingers crossed. imo
its probably a good thing not everyone reads the club web site of listens to radio der dar long enough to hear his interviews, because i reakon they'd be even more booing..
Agree with everything said in this thread. Very, very disappointed in the Manager's comments after the game.
