But the Radio Sheffield commentary seems to be suggesting we're playing quite well and are unlucky to be 2 down.

Losing is losing I suppose, but it sounds like a quality game.

The BBC stats certainly suggest that it's a very even game. Not sure how much Perkins being started on the wing is connected with the scoreline, but the amount of games we've lost and goals conceded when he plays there seems more than coincidental.

It has, we've not took our chances, not the first time or the last.

Still does not explain Addison in and Perkins wide like...

Perkins looks a quality central midfield player to me

But he's completely lost out wide. If he has been played out wide in today's game I can't find any excuses for that.

With two recognised wingers on the bench it's utterly bizarre.

I'm only guessing like unless we have lined up with Addison and Perkins in front of back four?

More open when chasing a game. You want us to attack right?

For me we look poor everytime we put a defensive holding midfielder in the middle of the team. Thats what happened in the first 3 home games and then again for the first half against Bristol, we instantly improved in that game when Perkins replaced Doyle. A mistake by hill today for me, should have left the central players the same and had a straight replacement for jim bob.

I said at the start that Perks wide was a bizarre choice. But apparently we have played a narrow midfield.
I dunno. He must have had method to his madness.
Any one of us on ere would have played the exact same winning XI except for Done/Vaz Te in for Jimbo...
And, Andy Gray wants dropping away from home. Yet to put in an AWAY display this year. The commentators have just said as much..
At least its not our fault today! :D
    Chin up eh?
Gagging for Bobby, Reubs and Haynes though..

    I was at the game

and thought we were unlucky to come away with nothing we hit the bar - their keeper made 3 fine saves and we had 2 cleared off the line

They didnt create many clear cut chances but managed to score twice
I thought there was a handball before their first goal by one of their stikers as well
it was one of those games

One thing I will say which is mentioned in this thread - Addison was poor and we looked a lot better when him and davies went off to be replaced by Done and Vas Te

I listened commentary on dee darr, they said Addison had a decent game?

Just goes to show I suppose. I agree though, should start with Perkins in the middle.

Opinions......I thought he did alright certainly not our worst player , Wiseman looked to have a shocker but their No11 Noone I think, made him look bad, was their best player for me. Thought we were unlucky overall, not much to be critical about but taking Davies off instead of Gray was a bit baffling. Nice padded seats and eventually some real beer to drink after the Stadium Manager bollocked the catering staff for not having it on , bit red faced as he was showing someone from the FA round and had just been bragging about having real ale on in all the bars

vaz tee made a difference when he came on ,unlucky not to get a goal on more than one occasion or make one, referee was conned quite a few times when our players got close to there's and that's all they did,get close ,theatrics from Brighton deserved points from strictly thrashing leg and arm in the air at one time.from first half Oscars Danny drink water should have kept his distance from bha player and he would not have got booked!
resultant in a goal for them.usual when one of our players went down one of there's collapsed moments after and got a free kick.
very good at emotionally demonstrating pain and staying down for treatment and getting up faster than Lazarus without so much as a limp after.
BFC players suffer a attack and have to go limping on without play being stopped.
there first goal one of our players got knocked over in the box.GOAL STOOD.
second goal counter attack left our defence chasing ball-and mac hail smith.
several saves off line from Brighton, near misses, very near, very, very near- and the post saved them as well or we would have got something out of the game ourselves.

Very narrow mfd yesterday, lacked width usually provided by O'Brien. Excellent performance though, and very unfortunate to to come away with something to show for it. We won't need much lifting for the 2 yorks derbies coming up and are more than capable of winning both games if we get our attitude right.

Addison played very well Farnham, strange comment. Saved a certain goal and consistently won the ball in midfield and passed it very well too.

Agree with Allen. Addison looked slimmer and fitter and broke play up well - although he did tire and look slightly laboured in the second half, mainly due to a lack of match fitness.
