We have a great Christmas offer for Reds fans who want to take in all three npower Championship fixtures in December. Read More from the official site... NOTE: The number of page impressions the club get on the official site also improves the ammount of money going into the club coffers. We all know we need every penny we get our hands on so if you'd got out of the habit of visiting the club site then could I suggest you visit it more frequently? The club are aware of the short comings of the site and plans are in place to rectify these.
Well done Reds. Now market the f.ck out of it. Why not give out the 1912 card for free for those paying £60? It's the same thing.
Aye spot on that, attractive opposition for two of the games unlike past offers, done in good time, instead of the week before. Get it in't Chron, Independant and on Dearne FM etc and maybe start handing some leaflets out on the pay on the day turnstiles at the Doncaster game and make people aware of the offer. Half season ticket details are out now as well, nice and early.
Well said. They should get some folks to go into town centre to see if places like Walkabout, Joseph Bs, Blah Bar, Corner Pin, Sizlers, Pizza Americano, the bookies and the rest of the shops would be willing to put up a poster about the offer to help out the town. I don't see why they wouldn't.
Very good offer from the oakwell based club. It's something that some fans have called for and it's time for the fans to put there wallet where there mouth is and put up or simply shut up.
Well done to the club. I'd been saying that the Ipswich game should be in a package with it being on telly and so close to Christmas....maybe an early Christmas pressie for some folk.
Good idea. Anyone interested in getting involved? Helping the club out with this and try and get numbers up over Chrimbo?
I was going to put barnsley or the good offer from the club but thats boring, its said 100 times a day or what ever so i thought something a bit different.
What about a printable A4 poster that we can download from the website ourselves, we've done it before in the past, print it off and stick it up in your local.
Don't buy that for a second. If the club want the fans help they need to officially ask and give something in return. But there's a college full of kids in Town Centre that would gladly hand out flyers, posters etc for free entry to a game. Tell the club to google 'street team' - get one set up and do some proper marketing for once.
I'm sure that will be arranged. Was thinking along the lines of getting something a bit bigger out there in shop windows etc.
I don't see why the council would stop posters being put up across town too We could look to advertising in the local newspaper of areas that don't have a professional football team just out of the region like Wakefield, Dewsbury, Halifax etc to try and entice possible new fans.
Now that is one of the best marketing ideas I have seen on this forum, hopefully someone from the club will see this....
Yeah good idea. What about some of these lamp posts adverts you see at traffic lights? You going to lend a hand? In Huddersfield?
