Lost 2-0. Crazy game. Barnsley passed and passed. they had 8 men behind ball with just 2 small quick players up. Barnsley attacked and over loaded twice. They score on the counter. Second time i've seen them live and i've got to say, they are a hell of a team on the ball. RB made a mistake i think. Left Digby out of first half and thats the guy who makes the guy tick. RNL played 90 mins. Found it difficult as there was know space in between midfield and defence and he found it very difficult. Wouldn't expect to see him play for first team for a few more weeks. He seemed to be picking up strains and pains all over is body which is normal for a guy thats been out for months. You could see he was buzzing before game about playing again. Had the biggest smile on is face you'll see this month from anyone. Talked to a few of the regulars of years and they say that stones should be in first team. Pure quality. Sounded bad for the lad in the last game. Took 30 mins for ambulance to get if off pitch. Clark looked quite good too.
So Barnsley are a hell of a team,yet we lost 2-0, Digby is the guy that makes the GUY tick(?), RNL was picking up strains and pains all over his body, he found it difficult to find any space because there was KNOW space between the defence and midfield. Yet Barnsley are a hell of a team!! How good they will be when the win is anyones guess!
