Open the bar that is in the ponty end, they have one in the away end and in the East Stand, so why not in the ponty end. £3 a pint (more than likely) 2 pints before you go in, 2 at half time, thats £12 per person (if they get that many) about 500-1000 people will do it depending on the game, thats an extra £12,000 a game. Surely it makes sense.
Longe debated mate. Most in favour but apparently concourse not big enough for alcohol or some rubbish the club said once. Saying that i;ve been in some tiny stands with booze on tap. £3 a pint x 500 pints would do plenty to cover slight additional costs to employ 18+ catering staff. Not sure how many people you think would splash out £12 inside the ground an a beer mate. Dare I Say £1500 profit more like it
agree with the size of the concourse being crap, QPR is one off the top of my head where it is half the size of the ponty.
